How to use Inkbox tracing paper?

Here are general instructions on how to use tracing paper:

  1. Choose or create your design: Decide on the tattoo design you want to use. You can either draw it by hand or print it out on regular paper.

  2. Prepare the tracing paper: If you have a special tattoo transfer/tracing paper, you will need to cut a piece that is large enough to fit your design. Make sure the paper is clean and free of any smudges or dirt that could affect the transfer process.

  3. Position the tracing paper: Place the tracing paper over your design or the printed image with the ink-side down (the side that leaves marks when drawn on).

  4. Trace the design: Using a pen or pencil with a firm pressure, carefully trace the design on the tracing paper. This will transfer the ink from the paper to the tracing paper.

  5. Clean and prepare the skin: Clean the area of your skin where you want to apply the tattoo. Ensure it is dry and free of any lotions or oils.

  6. Apply the transfer onto your skin: Place the traced side of the tracing paper on your skin in the desired location for the tattoo. Press down gently and hold it steady to ensure the transfer is accurate.

  7. Lift and check: Carefully lift one corner of the tracing paper to check if the design has transferred correctly. If it has, carefully remove the tracing paper entirely.

  8. Trace over using your Inkbox Marker or jagua ink: Using the transferred design as a guide, apply the Inkbox Freehand Ink or any other tattoo product according to its specific instructions. Be cautious and precise during the application to achieve the desired result.

Remember, it is essential to follow the specific instructions provided by Inkbox or any other product manufacturer for the best results and to ensure safe application. Always perform a patch test or consult a professional if you have any concerns about potential skin reactions or allergies

💁🏽‍♀️ Pro tip: to help the Tracing Paper stay in place, try taping it down!

⚠️ The Tracing Pen can bleed through the Tracing Paper, so work on a surface that's okay to get messy.
